Barn stars were used to decorate barns as early as the early 1800's. Used for aesthetic reasons they are also a symbol of good fortune and luck. Our copper barn stars are constructed of pure copper which is known for its everlasting durability. Copper will weather to a soft green patina if left untreated. Our stars are available in natural copper, with a patina finish, or a polished and lacquer finish to preserve the shiny copper appearance.
